Hello! I think I have old family links to the Harford Park community. Does anybody know the name and any details regarding the first owner of 7700 Old Harford Rd? A lady named Minna Augusta Schramm lived there in Dec. 1936. I think that's when the house was built.

Any Ullrich's or Albrecht's or Geblers or Doty's or Winters's own the house?

Dear Harford Park,
Councilman David Marks seems to be very active in improving the neighborhoods that he represents. It seems very sad that we are going to lose him with redistricting. My experience is that redistricting plans are a done deal once they are made public, so I do not think that there is much we can do to change it.

Thanks,
Glen Geelhaar

Hey Rob. I saw that on July 6, there were a number of crime incidents in the neighborhood.

Unfortunately, one of those involved were my new neighbors at 7401 Park Dr & Canterbury.

Their vehicle (a black SUV) wasn't locked, and Tom who walks his basset hounds noticed that their front truck door was ajar the next morning. He didn't touch anything, but kind of looked in where he could.

I don't know if the truck owner filed a police report or not, because they are not very social people yet. But when Tom was walking his dogs, and again saw the driver's door not closed, was very nice and picked up the CDs that were thrown in the street. He saw me outside later that day and gave me his name and phone number so that he could return the CDs.

When I gave the new people his info, they told me that a GPS was taken from the vehicle. Oddly enough, the criminals left the keys to the work van parked behind the SUV, AND a check book! However, these jerks also must have taken a time out from perusing the hood, and left peanut and sunflower seed shells in my neighbors driver seat!

Personally, I had a few new scratches on my car doors, one being deep enough to go down to the metal, but my doors were locked and my dog went nuts barking around 1am. I guess/hope that scared them away from our house at least - since it is just me and my kids. I wasn't going to open the door at that time of night to see what she was barking at.
