Weatherization

Maryland Energy Conservation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to help eligible low-income households through the installation of energy conservation materials in their dwelling units. To qualify for federally funded no cost weatherization service, read the overview on the Energy Assistance Program, apply to your local county’s Office of Home Energy Program by calling 1 (800) 352-1446. The local office sends us your energy assistance application, and MEC will perform weatherization services at no cost.
