On Saturday April 14th, HPCA participated in Project Clean Stream. Trash was removed from the park around the stream from north of the of the Save-A-Lot parking lot to Hillcrest Swim Club. Eleven volunteers helped out. Large amounts of trash were photographed behind the Save-A-Lot store next to the stream. The materials included hazardous waste such as paint and other chemicals and medical waste such as dentures and equipment. On Monday, April 16th, a complaint was filed with Baltimore County DEPRM. The pictures were submitted to the east side inspector at the office of Waste Management.
