Hello, I am a new neighbor, I just moved into my house on Moore avenue this past February and currently life is near perfect in the neighborhood.

My only complaint so far is the overwhelming amount of littering that goes on not only in the neighborhood but particularly on my side of the street.

I've noticed that about 80% of the trash that I pick up seems to come from the neighboring shopping center (McDonalds, KFC, Save a Lot, etc.) Since the weather has gotten warmer the amount of trash in my yard has diminished greatly, but according to my neighbors it picks right back up when the weather gets cooler.

I cannot explain how disgusting it is to pick up somebody's shredded-up and sticky styrofoam cup or entire bag of trash after their last meal at McDonald's. My wife saw a woman yesterday blatantly throw an aluminum can right out of her window and into our yard.

My proposal is to get some neighborhood and shopping center trash cans to put on the corners of every street. I realize this would be costly, but in the end it will save the neighbors from having to clean up others waste.

I would also like to inform others to pick up your garbage and to wait until you can throw your trash into an actual wastebasket.

Am I the only one concerned about this?
