The Baltimore County Department of Public Works will hold a public hearing on Thursday, February 21, 2008, at 7:00 p.m., to review the January 2008 draft of Baltimore County's Ten Year Solid Waste Management Plan.

The hearing will take place in the County Council Chambers, in the Old Courthouse, 400 Washington Avenue, Towson, MD, 21204. Attendees must use the Chesapeake Avenue entrance on the south side of the Old Courthouse. A public information session will precede the formal hearing. In the event of inclement weather, please call 410-887-2000 for possible changes to the date and time of the hearing.

The draft Solid Waste Management Plan is available for review on the web at www.baltimorecountymd.gov/recycling and at Baltimore County's public libraries. To review or request a hard copy, contact the Bureau of Solid Waste Management, 111 W. Chesapeake Avenue, Room 225, Towson, MD 21204.
