The Harford Park Community Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that has existed for development of the general welfare for the Harford Park neighborhood continuously since October 5, 1939.
HPCA meetings provide a forum for residents to discuss issues with the appropriate decision makers and agencies. Residents and associates are welcome to attend meetings to ask questions, raise issues, and show support for our community. Together we can make a difference in our community and keep it a great place to live, shop, and raise a family.
Our next Association meeting:
On Thursday, September 7th, 2017 at 7:30pm we will have our third quarterly association meeting of 2017 at our community building at 2522 Linwood Road. Our County Councilwoman Cathy Bevins will speak and we will receive crime updates for the city and county from Officer Goorevitz and Captain Martin of Baltimore County police and Mike Hilliard from Harbel. There will also be a presentation by Reading Partners, a national nonprofit that pairs community volunteers and elementary school students who are reading below grade level in Baltimore City. Light refreshments will be served.
Our annual elections for the board of directors of HPCA will be held at our November general meeting. Our board needs new members and this is a great opportunity to give back to your neighborhood. Watch Nextdoor and our website for position descriptions, which will be posted before the September meeting, and please bring any questions about these positions to the September meeting.
